Health Insurance Designed for Wisconsin Funeral Homes

The WFDA Association Health Plan is an exclusive member benefit available to Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association (WFDA) member firms.

Unlike many traditional Affordable Care Act (ACA) health plans, the WFDA Association Health Plan is underwritten outside of community rating. This allows participating firms to be evaluated based on their own group characteristics rather than being grouped into a larger community-rated pool.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate in the WFDA Association Health Plan:

  • WFDA membership is required.
  • Health insurance must be offered to all eligible employees.
  • Eligible employees are those working 26 or more hours per week.
  • Employer contributions are recommended but not required.

*Non-embedded deductible. If an employee has family coverage, the family deductible must be met before the plan will pay for benefits.
